MySpace is no longer what it used to be back in the early 2000’s. The site has transformed into a more business and user-friendly platform. Though, MySpace still holds onto its music roots as a hosting site for local to internationally famed musicians. The new MySpace is beautiful designed with clean and simple UI, no longer a hodgepodge of eclectic backgrounds and messy navigation. There are new and fun features MySpace has built into their new site to draw in people who work in the creative sector such as designers, photographers, and Entrepreneurs. MySpace is fairly easy to sign up for, just follow the easy steps we have provided here:
1. Sign up

You have the option of registering MySpace with your Facebook, Twitter, or E-mail account. To show you how, we will be registering with an email. If you signed up with an email like we did, type in all the requested information. For Facebook and Twitter, just click the icon of your choice and a prompt will ask for your permission to access your account to register on MySpace. Remember to click the agreement box, and then click “Create Account” when you are done.
2. What do you identify as?
Select whichever category best describes what you do, you can choose up to four.
Click “Take me to my Profile” when you are done.
3. Your New Profile
You now have a profile! We are not quite done, we still have some rudimentary set up to complete.
You should see a page that looks like this. You can click the blue “Start” button for a walk through of how to set up your MySpace profile, or you could follow along with us by clicking the “Edit Profile” link on the top right corner.
4. Edit Profile
Write something unique about yourself or your company in the “Write something about yourself. Then, add your current location and professional website, if you don’t have one Market My Market can help create one for you. MySpace has kept its two signature features : Selecting a song you like to play when people visit your website and choosing your top 8 friends to be listed on your profile.
Go ahead, have fun selecting a song you would like to share with others and adding those lucky 8 friends or people you like.
5. Edit Images
Click the icon that looks like a person on the top left corner, to edit images. Here you can upload an image of yourself and a cover image as the background to your MySpace. Just simply click, “edit images” then click “Profile Image” or “Cover Image” to upload an image of your choice.
