Kickstarter is bubbling with some exciting projects, as we phase into the second month of 2014. The trends we see so far range from devices and ideas that make our lives that much more enjoyable, to things that foodies appreciate. Here are 5 projects we found interesting that you should keep an eye on and/or fund.
Glyph: A Mobile Personal Theater With Built in Premium Audio @Avegant
Glyph is a pretty neat personal piece of entertainment. Finally we all can be alleviated from having to watch screens from an angle, heck if you want, you could probably watch a whole movie upside-down (though, not recommended.) We see Glyph becoming the next personal tech must have.
Kingdome Come: Deliverance @WarhorseStudios
This first person, open world, and realistic RPG game brings you to the midst of a troubled Medieval Europe. As a young blacksmith who has lost his livelihood to the war, you are darted with carrying out your dying fathers last wish only to be astray by royal conspiracy. There are no dragons to fight or magic to fickle with in this game. The project raised over half a million so far with only 20 days to go.
Hello Ruby @lindaliukas
Hello Ruby, teacesh our next generation the fundamentals of programing with fun stories and hands on activities. When it comes to preparing our next batch of programmers and creative professionals, we welcome projects like this one,. Who knows, maybe that annoying little sibling might become the next sought after developer.
Duo | Coffee Steeper
The Duo is a cross-over between the French press and pour-over. The name sound kinda like a car right? Well, the Dou promises to steep out a dope cup of coffee to speed up your drive. If you are a coffee junkie and appreciate the goodness that comes with a quality cup of coffee, be a do gooder and fund Enormous Industries.
SOSU Barrel-Aged Sriracha @SosuSauces
Taste SOSU barrel-aged Sriracha and you’ll be addicted to this fermented hot sauce. These are the same people that brought you Srirachup (Sriracha + ketchup). Since the infamous Hoy Fong Foods Sriracha shortage, it might be wise to invest in and support other hot sauce companies before a full fledge hot sauce recession happens.
