Meet Isabelle!
Isabelle Schmidt is one of Market My Market’s accomplished and talented SEO Analysts. She helps with onboarding processes, optimizes content performance, and maintains camaraderie at our Charlotte incubator office. Isabelle attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, eventually graduating with a degree in Digital Information Design, or DIFD. She also studied mass communications. This allowed her to learn about more than just public relations and journalism; she could also study e-commerce, coding, and graphic design.

A Day in the Life
What do you love most about your job?
“I love the people I work at MMM. Not just in person. I love my Charlotte crew, but everyone I have worked with at Market Market. We are just a big team and our main goal in the end is to make all our clients happy. That’s very heartwarming.
“We have protocols and things, as every job does. But if someone does have a new idea or a strategy they want to put in place or suggest, they are very open to listening to that here. And that is a beautiful thing for a company for sure.”
What do you find the most challenging about your job?
“A bigger challenge for me was definitely my onboarding position. I started that, I believe, nine months ago, and I was definitely thrown into the mix. Everyone will be nervous when you start a new position. But because they instilled so much trust in me in the beginning to do it, I have kind of made it my own.

What do you like to do for fun?
“Just being around friends! If that means going to brunch and hanging out there for a bit and then bopping around to a few places. Whether it’s bars, museums, or a show.
“I try not to be on the internet as much as possible. In our time and generation, it’s a little bit more challenging, but I try not to be online since we are on the internet all day at work. I do photography, sewing, painting, journaling, baking, and cooking.”
Who is your hero?
“Definitely my mom. She just went through so much when I was little. And then I have an older brother as well, and she had to take care of him on top of that. And then she’s just a badass woman in and of herself. She had her own architectural firm. She truly made me the woman I wanted to be and is always so encouraging and supportive. If I need to vent, she’s there. If I need advice, she’s there.”
Where do you see yourself in the future?
“Well, that’s tough. Obviously I would love to stay in this company and go to a higher position, whether that is an SEO specialist or manager or something more in onboarding. But, I always hope to work with a company that reflects Market My Market’s values.”
