Katie Hughes began her career in account management back in 2013 at a small startup. Since then, she’s worked at two other agencies, one being a full-service marketing firm. Her most recent position involved managing global, multilingual digital marketing initiatives for companies like PNC Bank and Microsoft. 

Katie’s multifaceted background has given her experience in managing all sizes of accounts. Whether the client has a large or small budget, she loves working with clients who are excited about their marketing efforts.

Katie joined the Market My Market team in April of 2021. “I was looking for a role where I would have more autonomy to meet client needs and I found that at Market My Market,” she said. 

As an Account Manager, Katie’s day revolves around addressing the needs of our clients. From client meetings to internal strategy sessions, she works hard to make sure we deliver results for our clients.

Katie also focuses on the big-picture strategy and what else we can do to enhance the client experience. “That may include keyword research, testing out new reporting software, or reading up on Google algorithm updates. I always want to be ahead of the curve, so my clients know they have the most up-to-date information.” 

In addition to working directly with clients, Katie focuses on improving Market My Market as a whole in ways that will benefit employees and clients alike. “I am always looking for ways to make our work more efficient for the client and the team. I love that I have the opportunity to do that at MMM.”

Outside of being a full-time Account Manager, Katie is also a full-time mom to three girls. She proudly resides in South Dakota where she enjoys gardening, drinking coffee, and staying indoors from November through March.
